All too often we get the relationship between man and God wrong. We think childishly about it; imagining that God needs our counsel, that we deserve an answer from God and that it is our right to question him. Our thinking is so often immature, marred by our rebellion and lack of understanding.
Job had lost everything, his sons and daughters, his great wealth and his good health. More, he had had to put up with his friends basically ripping into him and saying that he was a bad man.
